The ancient village is located in the crossing point of three regions: Marche, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, on a hill in the vicinity of the riverbank Senatello and the slopes of Mount Fumaiolo. Inhabited since prehistoric times, the territory of Casteldelci was colonized in Roman times, but it had its maximum development during the Middle Ages, together with the affirmation of the Lords of Casteldelci and Faggiola.
