The Furlo Gorge

The area of the gorge, crossed by the river Candigliano, is a nature reserve since 2001.
In 76 Vespasiano made the tunnel that is still used to cross the gorge, along the Via Flaminia to Rome. Nearby are the Romanesque abbey of San Vincenzo with his beautiful crypt, and the shrine of Madonna of Pelingo.
