Monte Petrano

The mountain Petrano (1162 m) is located in the municipality of Cagli, Province of Pesaro and Urbino. It is part of the Umbro Marchegiano Appennino. The mountain is crossed by extensive outcrops of "Red Ammonite," a stratigraphic unit, of marine origin, typical of the Apennines.
